Selma Hodzic, BA
If "academic geek" could be a professional title, Selma Hodzic would get it for sure. She finished her bachelor's study with a "golden student" title and was also named one of the best students in the country. Selma sought new challenges in the workplace and soon became editor-in-chief at a local radio station mainly responsible for online news website, working simultaneously as an assistant at the university. She currently works as a communication officer for the sixth NORFACE (New Opportunities for Research Funding Agency Cooperation in Europe) transnational programme on Democratic governance in a turbulent age while being a full-time postgraduate student of Communication Science at the University of Vienna. Her work has been published in the International Scientific Journal for the Philosophy of Media. Selma's primary research interests include the influence of social networks in the election period, fake news in the service of political propaganda, constructive journalism, and EU studies and policy analysis.
