Francisco Seoane Pérez (PhD, University of Leeds, 2011) is assistant professor in journalism studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. His book Political Communication in Europe (Palgrave, 2013), won the THESEUS prize for promising research on European studies. His investigations explore the triangle formed by government, media and citizens, with a particular interest in political journalism. His research has been published in the International Journal of Press/Politics, Interactions: Studies in Communication and Culture, or Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, among others.
